Live Music - Twang Dragons

Date:Saturday, April 25, 2015
Music Starts at 9:30 P.M. till 1:00 A.M.
The local band Twang Dragons returning after their October debut.

They're not exactly country. Not exactly rock. And definitely not country rock. But we’re enough of all those things to fit most any venue, from honky tonk saloon to rock festival to the hot and sweaty beer joint down the street.

Pizzas and appetizers served 10 P.M. - 1 A.M.
How we began

Originally called “The Commodore”, this converted cocktail lounge was purchased in 1975 by the brothers Tom & Will, along with their parents Dan & Dorothy Masters. In 1982, the tavern became a partnership between the brothers, then remodeled to look very much like an old mine shaft, where it borrowed its present name. Shortly thereafter, the first expansion took place and a kitchen was added, serving Mexican & other popular food choices.
Tom became sole owner and set out to make the ultimate Fish Fry. Over the years, we expanded 7 more times & now exceed 2000 dinners every Friday.
The Mineshaft seats over 500 people and serves over 10,000 guests weekly, which brings the total served to over half a million people annually.
We will continue to grow and give our customers large portions of quality “Home-Made” food at reasonable prices.
We thank the many people who have supported us, without you, we would never have made it.
